At DAIEC, we're building a vibrant, inclusive community where passion for AI ethics thrives. Our mission is to unite and empower future AI ethics experts and enthusiasts, creating a platform where diverse perspectives, discourse, and critical thinking shape the future of ethical AI. We're dedicated to fostering an environment where knowledge sharing is not just encouraged but celebrated, ensuring that voices from all backgrounds are heard and valued.
Activities
DAIEC brings its mission to life through a variety of activities:
Community building: We create a diverse, inclusive community of AI ethics enthusiasts where different perspectives and backgrounds are welcomed and valued.
Knowledge sharing: We provide a platform for AI ethics discourse, research, and development, increasing awareness and understanding of ethical AI.
Perspective unification: We encourage the exchange of diverse perspectives, ensuring a wide range of voices and insights are heard.
Critical thinking promotion: We stimulate a critical approach to ethical AI, focusing on the implications and possible consequences of AI applications.
Support for initiatives: We back AI ethics initiatives like research projects, educational programs, and events that promote ethical AI development.

History
DAIEC was founded by Samaa Mohammad in 2021 and co-founder Lilian de Jong joined in 2023.
